I was able to to this replacement with no trouble thanks to the included instructions, online support and videos. I made a couple dry runs before actually applying the glue and this made things go a lot smoother. The speakers are great now!

I thought I had to replace "blown" speakers on my Pioneer HPM-900 speakers, when I found "Simply Speakers" their on-line demos convinced me to give the foam replacement a try . They answered my questions super quick and I followed their tips and directions. It worked fantastically, just as the showed, and the speakers are like brand new! I wish I knew about this and did this sooner and am reliving the enjoyment of having nice speakers again!

I cannot express just how well this product worked. I recently obtained a pair of Pioneer CS-757 speakers, only to discover that the old foam surrounds had fallen apart, having a significant impact on the quality of the sound. The kit was easy to use, with clear instructions and has made a massive difference; the bass now makes the room shake! I'm incredibly impressed with the quality of the surrounds and the glue, and overall very satisfied.

I ordered the FSJ-12Ji foam repair kit for my 12" Pioneer Woofers. Followed the instructions "exactly" and my speakers look and sound like new!!! I was extremely pleased with the return of the original bass response, no scratching or distortion . Thank you Simply Speakers for saving me the expense of buying new speakers.

Very simple to do, repairing the speakers. Does take time to do it right, but I'm 79 and if I can do it, you can do it to. My Pioneer system sounds just like it did when it was new. The Kit is worth every penny, much better than replacement that could never replace that exact sound when it was new.

Repair Kit has been bought as a request from a friend of mine in order to repair the old deteriorated surrounds on the original drivers of the cabinets he acquired. So far I had a chance to remove the rubber surround and had put the rest of the repair on hold until he returns from his holidays. We had issue of a hairline crack in the cone made out of a composite graphite material and is very exotic material compared to traditional paper cones. He wanted to do further research on best adhesives in order to be used to repair the hairline crack on one of the drivers. For that matter, I have not proceeded with the foam installation until the cone is repaired first. I will look towards sending updated images as the repair proceeds onward to completion. However at this time, it is pending and awaiting his instructions to proceed with the cone repair first. I would say that the foam surround will be fine when installed, but this will be the next phase of the job to complete. I would say one thing about the glue that came with the kit for the foam is that it does appear to cure rather quickly. I took a small smear on a surface and it is quick similar to contact cement in the curing time. For this reason, I have plans to align the foam to the cone best as possible before using the cement because the foam has to be glued from the inner edge of the cone from the magnet side. This creates more challenge because of the basket limited access points to apply the glue. So I can offer 5 stars for the fact that the foam is correctly sized to the cone, but the final say will be when the job is fully completed of which at that point I can submit further images of the details involved from my end of the project. I had made special chisel tools from old butter knives in order to safely remove the old rubber gaskets along with some custom prying bars of 1/8" thick to slowly spread apart the rubber from the basket. That part went rather successfully but now the rest is on stand by for a few weeks. I do look forward to completing sometime in probably mid December with updates at that point in time.
