15" foam repair

The replacement foam kit worked very well. The speakers sound great and the kit was easy to install. Only complaint was how long it took USPS to get it here.

good product and 'simply' excellent service

This speaker kit exactly fit my needs (thanks to your in-store tech's advice) and the enclosed directions made this project a success. The worst part is scraping off old foam residue but once installed, the new foams brought my stereo back to life.

foh/studio tech

i had ordered foams for my 15in. gauss studio playback monitors from my regular source in ohio. sent them back. i found simply speakers had much better selection, and better quality. i have a new source now.

Had some Tamon Studio Monitors in storage for the past 10 years. Woofer foam had turned to dust so I thought I would throw these out. Cost me a fortune when I purchased them some 30 years ago! Saw Simply Speakers product for a repair kit and thought it was worth a try. Worked great, my studio monitors are like new again and now I enjoy listening to them everyday. Easy repair for a first timer! Just a suggestion that the on-line videos show how to glue the foam under the cone, but the written info says it's easier over the top of the cone. So after reading and watching 5 times, I went over the cone (original speakers it was underneath. So maybe update the video and explain over is just as good and easier to do.

This is the second time I have used a simply speakers edge kit to rebuild these same speakers ten years ago and thanks to them I will be able to keep these babies cranking for years to come.The kit was delivered quickly and fit perfect as I made sure to measure the speaker cone and frame precisely before I ordered the kit . This time I used the PVA foam protection preservative so hopefully will get even longer out of this repair . Now my tired old speakers absolutely kick butt again.....and my neighbors hate me again . The heavy duty foam surrounds appear to be of a strong and thick foam but still provide enough flexibility and movement necessary for the speaker to belt out a great sound and the wicked base response has returned to my quiet neighborhood . Thanks SS you guys provide a great service and an astounding selection of parts for just about any speaker on the planet .
