15" EXTRA Wide Foam Speaker Repair Kit, FSK-15AW (PAIR)

In the early 2000’s I bought a 15” paradigm signature servo sub. It wasn’t cheap but it was worth every penny, until this last year when the foam surround disintegrated. I called Paradigm, no luck, they won’t repair and they won’t sell me a new surround, but they tried to sell me a new sub. A few local repair shops wouldn’t touch it because it was a servo sub and has specific needs. I though well let me buy a surround and try to fix it myself. After watching the videos and following their instructions my sub has new life. I had to trim the surround but that wasn’t hard. Would recommend this to anyone who is a bit handy. I used this kit to repair a Paradigm Servo 15 V2. The Version 2 is larger than most 15" subs. The extra wide kit fits, but just. The contact overlap is only about an 1/8" so I did not expect the supplied adhesive or a contact cement to work. Instead I used a bead of silicone. It worked perfectly. The subwoofer works fine with no issues what so ever.

Purchased this extra wide surround to redo my JL 15w0-8 and it fit perfect! Sub has never hit so hard, only needed to trim off a minor bit from the outside lip to fit.

repair kit is easy to install, but getting a some vibrating out of the speakers ,maybe the foam need to stretch a bit not sure.
