Technics 15" Foam Speaker Repair Kit FSK-15A (PAIR)

These foam surrounds were a perfect fit for my Technics Speakers. Even though preformance would not be affected and I was informed I could glue the surround to the front of the cone, I opted to glue the lip on the back of the cone as the cones were White and it preserved the factory appearance of the speaker.This was not complicated to do and made for a beautiful repair. The speakers preform like new and the quality of the product was excellent.

In a word: UNBELIEVABLE! This product is so awesome! I was ready to toss the speakers and buy new ones and then I called a repair guy who said he could fix both for $180...still more than I could afford. I was a day off from breaking down and going with the repair guy when I found “Simply Speakers” on the internet. The repair was perfect the first time! It was easy to do, a bit time consuming on the cleaning of the old foam from the speaker frame, but well worth the time effort and money. I HIGHLY recommend this company and the products they sell!

The repair kit worked great. Speakers now sound great. Easy to install. Follow written directions after viewing video instructions. One tip - I used solvent as instructed on first speaker to remove old foam from metal rim, but was fairly slow and messy. I used wire brush on drill on second and job was much faster and easier.

I really liked this product it was easy to use but maybe in the instructions to make them a little clearer on some of the steps. I worked for a stereo shop in the day so I already knew how to repair the surround on the speakers. I also have a Rockford Fosgate certification form the 90's.

The speaker repair kit was promptly shipped and contained everything needed to do the repair. Their online video was extremely helpful to properly perform the repair. I'm very pleased with Simply Speakers!

The foam surrounds are well-made and the instructions, when combined with the vendor's on-line videos, make replacing the surrounds fairly straight forward. Patience is more important than great skill. Set aside 4 hours for the project and take your time. Use tools you are comfortable using ... not the chisel recommended by some folks. A dull pocket knife and a flashlight are best for removing the old foam. Easy on the alcohol as the cone can be distorted. The cones were self-centering for my project. Good vendor with a great product.

Everything was included in this kit to refoam a gifted set of Technics SB-L95 speakers. Simply Speakers methods, explained in videos, was all that was needed for an easy project. Product quality and tolerances are excellent. Highly recommended.

I had never heard of Simply Speakers before until I started an online search to repair the speakers on our component stereo system. Finding the right foam repair kit was easy as long as you know what speakers they will be needed for. The price is most certainly reasonable. Watch the videos on how to clean and repair the foam is you are not experienced with this type of repair. The videos made it super simple and really not a difficult or timely repair as I thought it would be. I followed the instructions and now our component stereo that we bought in 1989 sounds as good as it did when it was new!
