The repair kit is working perfect and the purchase and the delivery were very much ok.

Easy as pumpkin pie to remove and install the new foams on the speakers after following the on-line instructions. Now speakers sound great

Hearing weird noises coming from my vintage B & O speakers, I flipped out. I discovered the foam surround rings were disintegrated. I searched the Internet for replacements parts and found Simply Speakers. They carried the exact replacement surround rings for my B & O model. Their cost was high, but considering the alternative of new speakers, I opted to buy the rings. Preparation work was a difficult and messy, but once the new foam rings were installed, I now have “brand new” speakers.

Simple to use, visibly a good result - and the sound of my CX 100;s is back! I can recommend this product.

I used the repair kit to replace the crumbling surrounds on an old pair of Beovox cx100 speakers. Overall the kit worked fine but it did require me to create some tools to get good results. My only complaint about the foam surrounds is the inside diameter could have been smaller by at least an 1/8 of an inch to give a bit more gluing surface to the outside edge of the speaker cone. As for getting a good glue seal I used short sections of acrylic tubing, one for the inside and one for the outside edge, to weight down the foam while it dried. I noticed that the glue when first applied to the foam will make it deform and curl, making it tricky to adhere it evenly with just the fingers or a burnishing tool. It is easy to shift the position of the surround with all the rubbing. The outside edge is easier to glue down because it is being adhered to a flat surface. I used an acrylic tube with a straight cut to hold it down. But the inside edge is being glued to a cone that is angled down. So to get a even flat seal I made a bevel cut at the end of an acrylic tube to match the angle of the cone. I got successful results despite having to redo one misaligned speaker. It helps to have some dexterity and delicate touch. I would have paid a little extra for some plastic rings to aid in the glueing. Thanks, Evan

since this kit was for a specific speaker I would expect it to fit properly. the foam ring was to big for the speakers though I was able to find a solution on your web site of cutting the ring to fit. parts where delivered on time and UNDAMAGED the glue tube opening was to large for this speaker size and put down to wide a bead of adhesive but in the end all worked out ok. my unusable speakers are sounding great now thank you !!!!

Speaker foams were promptly shipped. I had to customize by cutting the foams, and tech support was extremely helpful and responded promptly to my inquiry.

I will say that your support have been very good and if some friend will ask me how I have down with the speaker, I will recommend your company. And I will thank you for a good support.
