Excellent Customer Service

I purchased one of these kits to fix some Design Acoustic speakers I have had since the 80s. I had a bit of trouble with the instructions (lining up the sweet spot) but I was helped tremendously by Sean. After I messed one up, I worked with him to make sure I could do the second. (I ripped the one I messed up apart, but he actually sent me instructions on how to salvage it - so make note of that.) I succeeded and Sean actually sent me a replacement foam surround for free (even though I was willing to pay as I was the one who screwed the installation up). So I was extremely pleased after it was over with the parts as well a the help. I would suggest if you are unsure of anything, drop them an email. They will surely guide you through everything.

Perfect Foam Surrounds for my Design Acoustics

I recently found a pair of Design Acoustics PS-6A speakers at a local thrift shop for $3.00. Of course, the foam surrounds were all but totally disintegrated. I brought them home and discovered an online forum where someone mentioned replacement surrounds available from Simply Speakers. I jumped. These were very simple to find on the website, and it was easy to determine that they were the right fit and type for my particular speakers. The shipping was fast and I was at the workbench 10 minutes after grabbing these from the mailbox. The directions were easy to understand and gluing and installing the new surrounds was a breeze. The most time consuming part was cleaning out the old foam from the deteriorated original surrounds. After the glue dried, I reassembled the speakers and hooked them up to my system. WOW! They sound fantastic! I am so happy to be able to have some beautiful new speakers for under $30 total! Much better quality than most of the overpriced stuff you can buy new today. Plus, it was fun to do the repair job. Thank you so much, Simply Speakers!
