2001-2010 Lexus SC430 Levinson COMPLETE System Speaker Repair Kit FSK-SC430

My 2002 Lexus SC430 Speakers where all shot throughout the car which made listening to music almost unbearable. I bought the all speaker repair kit because of the value but only intended to repair the door speakers. I immediately changed the door speakers which showed a dramatic improvement but became excited with results and heard a slight distortion in the rear woofer so I decided to repair as well. I then was even more excited with the sound quality but then heard a little distortion from the rear side speakers and thought what the heck, you have already repaired the others so go ahead and do them all which I did. Walla, the sound system sounds amazing and glad I invested the time and stopped being lazy and settling for decent sound by just changing the door speakers. I had read that what you will find is even if to your ear it seems that primarily the door speakers are shot, it is more likely than not that the others are close behind and the foam has started to deteriorate and separate due to dry rot. I can attest that once I started removing the speakers I found that even if the distortion was ever so slight, the speakers were not far away from needing repair so I am glad I invested the time and just got it done. One day I did the front door speakers which took a 2-2.5 hrs to remove, repair and re-install. Next day, I did the rear woofer which took about 1hr to remove, repair and re-install. The following day, I did the two rear side speakers which took 2 hrs to remove, repair and re-install. In total, it was a 5-6 hour job for someone who didn't know what he was doing and relied on google to find different instructions but I could probably do it in half the time because I learned from doing it once. Lastly, I looked at a youtube which was ok but it focused on the front door speakers and some parts weren't clear to see or understand. I also found some excellent pictorial step by step on the Lexus Forum "lexusownersclub" which you can google to find. When you go to the forum, type in each speaker repair you are working on and you will find instructions, sometimes you have to be patient and find the best instructions which are the ones that show high definition pictures of each step. Trust me that they are there but you have to search around. The $59 speaker repair kit and a 3-6 hours of your time is a steal compared to speaker replacement for $1500-$2000 to replace all your speakers. Kyle

I was told my speakers were blown and needed to be replaced...Argggg. But after doing a bit of research found my Lexus IS hard to fit with replacement speakers. I also learned how to replace the foam rings on the speakers, this being the problem rather than they being blown out. Simple deterioration of the foam was the problem. I had a local shop pull all the speakers and the sub foofer. Sure enough simple deterioration of the foam. So I pulled of the old and cleaned them up, glued the new ones on and had the guys replace them in the car and...now perfect sound! So for less that the price of one speaker I have a sound system in my car that is perfect agian. Thank you!

Purchased the complete foam edge kit for my lexus sc430. I only needed the one for the sub, but I thought that I may as well but the complete kit just in case. The product came as advertised, no surprises, the glue holds very well, however it does not give a lot of working time, so make sure that you have the foam edge lined up fairly well. Once the glue comes in contact with the paper cone on the speaker it really does not want to be moved around too much. Overall I was very pleased with the kit. I would recommend this kit as lexus charges a small fortune for any replacement speakers(as do all manufacturers)

I have an 02' SC430 and just finished installing the speaker kit on my front speakers. WOW! What a difference. They turned out so well that I am going to do the rear and subwoofer in the near future. Between the ClubLexus post and a YouTube video it was pretty straightforward....it just takes a bit of time since there is about 3 hours of glue curing. Well worth the time.

Worked very well once I did the first one. Then I took the other five speakers and did them all at once. Production style! Bye the time I got to the last speaker in the line up. The first one was all set up for the next task. The how too videos are excellent.

Great buy!!! If you can or find somebody to fix your speakers this is the way to go! So inexpensive compared to taking it any audio store!!! I love my speakers!!!!

I did not want to replace the Mark Levinson with an aftermarket system because two speakers were bad so I came across your site through the Lexus Forums and ordered your kit for my Lexus SC 430 and followed the directions. I saved over $450.00 dollars by re-conditioning my 6 x 9 door speakers with your product. Anyone who has basic repair knowledge can do this.
